The STAN28-TCC is a 7.4 US gallons thermosyphon system designed for double mechanical seal applications that require reliable thermal management. Suitable for both water and oil barrier fluids, this system provides efficient seal cooling via passive convection circulation and is ideal for critical operations in various industrial settings.

Built from 316 stainless steel, the STAN28-TCC features a pressure gauge, flow indicator, and hose kit, and is supplied factory-assembled and tested. PED certification is available upon request.

Installation Tips

Ensure smooth and level pipe routing to and from the mechanical seal. Avoid sags or kinks to maintain uninterrupted thermosyphon circulation.

Recommended for use with double mechanical seals sized 90mm and above (3.750″+) due to its effective thermal dissipation capabilities.

Installation Guidelines

Identify a mounting location that allows direct routing to the mechanical seal barrier ports. Ensure the area provides adequate access for inspection and maintenance, and that the mounting surface can support the system when filled with fluid.

System Installation

Install the STAN28-TCC using a suitable wall- or stand-mounting arrangement. Connect the supply and return lines between the system and the double mechanical seal. Pipe routing should support uninterrupted thermosyphon circulation, avoiding elevation traps, restrictions, or unnecessary directional changes.

3.

Initial Filling & Setup

Charge the reservoir with the recommended water or compatible barrier fluid. Remove air from the system to ensure continuous circulation. Confirm that all gauges, indicators, and valves are correctly installed and functioning prior to startup.

4.

Startup Procedure

Allow the system to reach operating temperature so natural circulation can establish. Observe pressure and flow behavior during initial operation and confirm stable thermal performance before placing the equipment into sustained service.
