Overview
The SPW-132 from HydroMax Seal is a precision-engineered single-cartridge mechanical seal, purpose-built for installations requiring compact axial lengths. Designed in line with API610 Edition 5 and later, this seal is optimized for API Plan 32 piping arrangements, especially when handling process fluids with suspended solids or particulate matter.
This cartridge seal is ideal for limited-space seal chambers while maintaining robust sealing performance, thermal stability, and easy installation.

- Multi-port flush orifice delivers a uniform “shower” of clean fluid across the inboard seal faces—crucial when sealing fluids contain abrasive solids
- Large ½″ NPT seal ports for efficient flushing and reduced clogging risk
- Gland plate with integrated multi-port flush ring provides even distribution of flush fluid
- Compact cartridge seal design — features short axial lengths on both inboard and outboard sides
- Engineered for small cross-sectional seal chambers, minimizing retrofit constraints
- Multi-spring configuration, with springs isolated from the process fluid for longer service life
- Pressure-balanced and hydraulically optimized seal face geometry ensures effective sealing under varying load conditions
- Monolithic seal faces enhance durability in high-temperature environments
- Fully compatible with HydroMax Seal’s Plan 32 accessory kit, including pressure gauge, flow meter, strainer, and valve assemblies
