The SPW682-53 is a premium double-cartridge mechanical seal equipped with a bi-directional barrier fluid pumping ring and is designed to meet the rigorous standards of API 682. Specifically engineered for Plan 53A, 53B, and 53C systems, this robust seal is ideal for high-performance use in the oil and gas industry, especially for API 610 V8+ process pumps.

- 1/2″ NPT BI/BO port connections for Plan 53 barrier fluid circulation
- Integral fluid deflector targets cooling across the inboard faces
- The outboard floating restriction bush ensures safety in case of primary seal failure
- Plan 62 Quench/Vent & Drain ports included as standard
- Vortex breakers in the gland for slurry and solids handling
- API682-compliant clearances for enhanced sealing performance
- Monolithic seal faces for high temperature stability
- Self-aligning stationary face supports high-speed applications
- Multi-spring design positioned outside the process fluid
